How it works:
1. Place a pre-match bet on selected markets for soccer matches.
2. For single bets, if the player you have backed is substituted before the half-time whistle, we will return your stake as bet credits, provided the outcome has not already been determined.
3. Where a selection is part of a multiple bet, and the relevant player is substituted before the half-time whistle, we will treat this part of your bet as void, provided the outcome has not already been determined, and any subsequent returns from the bet that includes this selection will now be paid as bet credits.
4. If a selected market is part of a bet builder bet, and the relevant player is substituted before the half-time whistle, we will also return your stake as bet credits, provided the outcome has not already been determined. Substitute Guarantee is applicable to the following markets:

- Substitute Guarantee will not apply where a bet has been fully cashed out. Where a qualifying bet has been partially cashed out, the Substitute Guarantee will apply to the remaining active stake.
- If a qualifying bet is edited using our edit bet feature to change from a player who is then substituted before the half-time whistle, then Substitute Guarantee will not apply. Where a bet has been edited to change to a player who is then substituted before the half-time whistle, Substitute Guarantee will apply. If a bet has been edited to an in-play selection, Substitute Guarantee will not apply.
Full Terms and Conditions: Qualifying
1. This offer is only available to new and eligible customers. You can see a full list of your available offers by logging in and selecting the offers section on mobile or the promotions section on desktop. Bet365 maintains a record of customer contact in relation to eligibility for offers and this record, including the date and time of any restrictions being imposed, will be final in the event of any dispute.
2. Substitute Guarantee applies to pre-match bets on any of the markets listed above (where available) for any soccer match. For single bets, if the player you have backed is substituted before the half-time whistle, your stake will be returned as bet credits.
3. Where a pre-match selection on any of the markets listed above is part of a multiple bet and the player you have backed is substituted before the half-time whistle, the relevant selection will be made void and any subsequent returns from the bet that includes this selection will be paid as bet credits.
4. Where a pre-match selection on any of the markets listed above is part of a bet builder bet and the player you have backed is substituted before the half-time whistle, the bet builder bet will be made void and your stake will be returned as bet credits.
5. If you place an each way bet on the First Goalscorer market and your selection is substituted after the first goal but before the half time whistle, the place part of your bet will be returned as bet credits. Restrictions

8. If a qualifying selection is edited using our edit bet feature to change from a player who is then substituted before the half-time whistle, then Substitute Guarantee will not apply. If a selection has been edited to an In-Play selection, Substitute Guarantee will not apply.
9. If you are a new or eligible customer and have placed a qualifying bet on a Scorecast, Anytime Scorecast or 1st Half Scorecast market and the game ends 0-0, you will qualify for Bore Draw Money Back and not Substitute Guarantee.
10. In the event of your selected player having already fulfilled their part of a Scorecast, Anytime Scorecast or Wincast bet prior to being substituted and the bet goes on to be a loser, Substitute Guarantee will not apply. For example if you place a Scorecast bet with a correct score of 2-0, and your player scores the first goal before being substituted, but the match ends 1-0, your bet will be settled as lost.
Using Bet Credits
11. We will endeavour to apply bet credits to your account as a result of Substitute Guarantee as soon as possible once the substitution has taken place. For Scorecast, Anytime Scorecast and 1st Half Scorecast markets, Bet Credits will be applied after the end of the match. Multiple bets are dependent on the outcome of the other selections.
12. Your bet credits are non-withdrawable. Any returns from bet credits stakes will be added to your withdrawable balance but bet credits stakes are not included in any returns. For example, a $10 bet placed at odds of 3.00 (2/1) would give a return of $30 ($20 winnings plus $10 stake), whereas a $10 bet credits stake placed at odds of 3.00 (2/1) would give a net return of $20, as the $10 bet credits stake is not returned.
13. Stakes can be funded in part by your bet credits and part with your withdrawable balance; however the bet credits element of the stake will not be included in any returns. For example, a $20 bet placed at odds of 3.00 (2/1) which was funded by $10 Bet Credits and $10 cash would give a net return of $50 ($40 winnings plus $10 cash stake) as the $10 Bet Credits stake would not be returned. If a bet is void and has had an opportunity to win (for example, in the event of a push), Bet Credits stakes will not be returned. If a bet is void and has not had an opportunity to win (for example, when a Goalscorer bet is placed on a player who does not then take part in the match), Bet Credits stakes will be returned.
14. Your bet credits will be forfeit and removed if your account is inactive for 90 consecutive days. Making a deposit, placing a Sports bet or participation in any Casino, Games, Poker or Bingo product is deemed as having activity on an account.
General
15. Where any term of the offer, promotion or settlement is breached or there is any evidence of a series of bets placed by a customer or group of customers, which due to enhanced payments, free bets, risk free bets, bet credits or any other promotional offer results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, Bet365 may reclaim the enhanced payment, free bet, risk free bet or bet credit element of such offers and/or void any bet funded by the free bet or bet credits. In addition, where there is evidence of such activity, Bet365 may levy an administration charge on the customer up to the value of the bet credits, free bet, risk free bet or enhanced payment towards the administrative costs incurred in identifying and taking action against the activity.
16. Bet365 may reclaim any bonus amount, free bets, bet credits, refund amount or enhanced payments that have been awarded in error.
17. Bet365 may, at any time, make minor amendments to this promotion or settlement to correct typographical errors or to improve on clarity or customer experience and may cancel this promotion or settlement for legal or regulatory reasons.
18. Employees, officers and directors of Bet365, its promotional or other agencies, licensees and licensors, service providers and any other associated or affiliated companies shall not be eligible for the promotion or settlement. The same terms shall apply to the direct families of such persons.
