The final Premier League fixture of the weekend sees relegation-threatened Leeds host Liverpool. The match takes place at 8pm UK time at Elland Road.
Leeds
Leeds have clambered out of the relegation zone for the time being, yet they are only two points clear of danger and if results don’t go their way on Saturday, they may find themselves dragged back into the dreaded drop-zone.

Get it & Bet It Now!They have improved under Javi Gracia, with the Spaniard winning three of his seven matches in charge of the Whites. His side suffered a huge setback last weekend as they were defeated 5-1 at home to Crystal Palace and they will be hoping for an instant response on Monday night.
Leeds have struggled to keep the opposition off the scoresheet at this venue with an average of 1.6 goals conceded per match. Only four sides have failed to find the net at this venue and Gracia must find a way of making his side tougher to breach.
Despite losing to Palace last weekend, Leeds have only lost two of their last seven matches at this venue and won’t make it easy for the visitors.
Liverpool
Liverpool are winless in four coming into this contest, however, they have endured a fairly tough run of fixtures which involved facing both Arsenal and Manchester City. Jurgen Klopp’s side picked up a respectable 2-2 draw with the leaders last weekend and even missed the chance to win the game from the penalty spot.
Although they’ve been formidable at Anfield, Liverpool fans have become increasingly frustrated by their side’s inability to win away from home. They’ve taken just two points from their last four outings and have won just one of their last eight on the road. Having also failed to score in five of their last seven away games, they will be pleased to come up against one of the division’s leakiest defences.
Despite their inconsistent form, Liverpool are still (just about…) challenging for the top six and will see this as an opportunity to end their barren run of form.
Head to Head
Unsurprisingly, Liverpool have dominated this fixture in recent years. The Reds have won five of the last seven meetings between these teams, although they were defeated at Anfield by the Whites earlier in the campaign. It remains the only home defeat that the Merseyside club have suffered this season.
That victory was the first time that Leeds had beaten Liverpool since 2001 and they’ll be aiming to complete the double over this opposition on Monday night.
Leeds haven’t beaten Liverpool at Elland Road since 2000 when Mark Viduka netted all four goals for the hosts.

Match Prediction
This could be a hugely entertaining Monday night fixture. Neither side can seemingly defend at the moment, although Liverpool should be able to end their recent barren spell on the road. There are always plenty of cards in Leeds matches too and although there was just the one booking in the previous meeting, we might get a few here.
