The second North London derby of the season takes place on Sunday afternoon as table toppers Arsenal make the short journey to N17.
Spurs
Spurs have been in disappointing form lately. The Lilywhites were sat in third place following their 3-1 defeat at the Emirates back in October, however, Antonio Conte’s side now sit fifth and have suffered four defeats since their last meeting with their bitter rivals.

Get it & Bet It Now!Spurs’ shortcomings have been highlights in recent weeks and they’ve been conceding far too many goals. Nevertheless, they come here off the back of a convincing 4-0 victory at Selhurst Park and fans will be hoping that their side can finally find some consistency.
Speculation over head coach Antonio Conte’s future isn’t helping matters with the Italian seemingly unlikely to see out his 18-month contract in North London.
Arsenal
Arsenal are enjoying a superb season with Mikel Arteta having guided the Gunners to the summit of the Premier League. Although they failed to find a way past Newcastle at the beginning of the month, the leaders have suffered just a single top flight defeat so far this campaign and have kept four clean sheets across their last six outings.
Although they are yet to make a breakthrough in their pursuit of Mykhaylo Mudryk, the Gunners have a superb squad of players and with the likes of Emile Smith-Rowe set to return to full fitness shortly, they will fancy their chances of staving off an expected title challenge from Manchester City.
Although Reiss Nelson and Gabriel Jesus remain sidelined, the visitors have been priced up as the favourites to take all three points from this clash.
Head to Head
Despite the Gunners going off as favourites for this weekend’s fixture, matches between these two sides have tended to favour the home team. Each of the last six meetings has been won by the hosts with both Spurs and Arsenal picking up three victories each.
As hosts, Spurs have won four of their last five meetings with Arsenal with the exception being the entertaining 1-1 draw in March 2019.
Goals can always be expected in this fixture with six of the last seven meeting featuring at least three goals. Across the last 35 meetings, BTTS has landed 69% of the time whereas Over 2.5 Goals has paid out in 63% of those encounters.
Harry Kane has scored three goals across the last two meetings with Arsenal whereas Son has found the net in two of the last North London derbies.

Match Prediction
Arsenal’s away form has been imperious so far this season and they will be expected to continue that form here. However, Spurs are welcoming back several injured players and should make this fixture hugely competitive. There are always goals between these two sides and the Lilywhites have found it tough to keep clean sheets this season. This should be an entertaining one.
